Government to sell two sites by public tender

The Lands Department (LandsD) announced today (March 17) that a commercial site and a commercial/hotel site in the 2016-17 Land Sale Programme will be disposed of by public tender.

The two sites are Inland Lot No. 9051 at Murray Road, Central, Hong Kong, and New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6556 at Kai Tak Area 1F Site 2, Kowloon. The tender invitation for Inland Lot No. 9051 will commence on March 31, and close on May 12. The tender invitation for New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6556 will commence on March 31, and close on May 26.

Inland Lot No. 9051 has a site area of about 2,880 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 25,920 sq m and 43,200 sq m respectively, both including the gross floor area of a public vehicle park to be constructed by the purchaser.

New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6556 has a site area of about 19,044 sq m and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 106,602 sq m and 177,670 sq m respectively, both including the gross floor area of Government Accommodation, being a public transport interchange, and an underground shopping street to be constructed by the purchaser.

Land sale documents including the Forms of Tender, the Tender Notices, the Conditions of Sale and the sale plans of the two lots will be available for downloading from the LandsD website (www.landsd.gov.hk/), and the sale plans will be available for distribution and inspection by the public from March 31, when the particulars of the tenders will also be gazetted.
