The Lands Department today (March 23) announced that the tender for a site, Sha Tin Town Lot No. 610 at Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Heights, Sha Tin, New Territories, has been awarded to the highest tenderer, Teampearl Company Limited (parent company: Far East Consortium International Limited), on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $245,099,950.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:
(1) Asia Bright Development Limited (Sino Land Company Limited)
(2) Hanforth Limited
(3) Kelpoint Limited (Asia Standard International Group Limited)
(4) Mainco Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited)
(5) Staunton Global Limited (Allied Way Holdings Limited)
(6) Well Plant Limited (K. Wah International Holdings Limited)
Sha Tin Town Lot No. 610 has a site area of about 3,300 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 4,950 sq m and 8,250 sq m respectively.
In addition, the Lands Department said that the tender for a residential site included in the quarterly land sale programme for January to March 2016 would be deferred. The site is located at Tsing Ha Lane, Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay, Area 20, Tuen Mun (the proposed Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 516). As it takes time for the department to resolve technical issues relating to the site, the tender is deferred to a later date to be determined.
