The Lands Department today (September 4) announced that tenders for two residential sites have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $3,461 million.
Sha Tin Town Lot No. 579 in Area 56A, Kau To, Sha Tin, New Territories was awarded to Golden Concept Development Limited (parent company: Chun Wo Development Holdings Limited) at $2,710 million. Yuen Long Town Lot No. 528 at Tak Yip Street, Tung Tau, Yuen Long, New Territories was awarded to Trioland Limited (parent company: Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited) at $751 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a Lands Department spokesman said.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in respect of each lot in alphabetical order with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets were:

Sha Tin Town Lot No. 579 has a site area of about 32,900 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 18,022 sq m and 30,036 sq m respectively.
Yuen Long Town Lot No. 528 has a site area of about 4,303 sq m and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 12,909 sq m and 21,515 sq m respectively. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 430.
