SEB Asia Ltd offers free maintenance for ROWENTA dehumidifier (with photos)

The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) today (May 25) advised consumers using ROWENTA dehumidifiers of model number DH 3020 with week codes 0108, 1108, 1908 and 3108 to approach the supplier, SEB Asia Ltd. (SEB), to arrange for free maintenance service.
 
According to the information provided by the supplier, the internal motor starting capacitor of ROWENTA dehumidifiers of the above model and week codes may overheat during prolonged operation, posing a potential risk of electric short circuit.

The affected dehumidifiers were supplied to the local market between March 2008 and January 2009. Consumers are advised to stop using these dehumidifiers and immediately contact the supplier.

SEB will offer free maintenance service for the affected consumers, and post safety notices announcing the free maintenance service in newspapers today and tomorrow (May 26).

For details, consumers should contact SEB's customer service hotline at 8104 4228 during office hours from 9am to 9pm from Monday to Saturday.
