The Government today (April 21) gazetted the amended areas involved in the drainage improvement works to the future river channels in Ho Chung.
The works project, undertaken by the Drainage Services Department, is aimed at reducing flooding risks in Sai Kung.
Copies of the amendment plan No. DPM/120CD/0004 and the relevant scheme showing the proposed amendments are available for inspection at the following locations:
(i) Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
G/F, The Center,
99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong
(ii) District Lands office, Sai Kung,
3/F, Sai Kung Government Offices,
34 Chan Man Street, Sai Kung, New Territories; and
(iii)Sai Kung District Office,
2/F, Sai Kung Government Offices,
34 Chan Man Street, Sai Kung, New Territories
A notice of the proposed amendments is also posted near the site of the proposed works.
Any person who wishes to object to the proposed amendments should write to the Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works, 16/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, by June 12, 2006.
