The Geotechnical Engineering Office (GEO) of the Civil Engineering and Development Department will stage a three-day exhibition on slope safety and maintenance at Ning Fung Court, Kwai Chung, beginning on Saturday (October 22).
Open from 10am to 6pm, the exhibition aims to convey messages to visitors about the importance of slope safety and proper maintenance of slopes through colourful display panels, video show and an information kiosk.
Information on landslip warning messages, landslip warning signs, evidence of landslip danger and precautionary measures will be on display.
Quiz games will also be held at the venue from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday.
A geotechnical engineer from the GEO's Community Advice and Education Section will also conduct a "Meet the Public" session from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday to answer questions on slope safety and slope maintenance.
