The Geotechnical Engineering Office (GEO) of the Civil Engineering Department (CED) today (December 4) opened a six-day exhibition on slope safety and maintenance at Fu Cheong Shopping Centre, Fu Cheong Estate, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon.
Opening from 10am to 6pm, the exhibition features various aspects of slope safety and slope maintenance through colourful illustrations and photographs. Interesting quiz games will also be held at the venue from 2pm to 5pm on December 6 and 7.
Information about the dangers of landslides, taking precautionary measures and landslide warnings is on display.
The GEO's Community Advisory Unit will also conduct a "Meet the Public" session from 2pm to 5pm on December 6 to answer questions about slope safety and slope maintenance.
