The Geotechnical Engineering Office (GEO) of the Civil Engineering Department (CED) will open a six-day exhibition tomorrow (November 18) on slope safety and maintenance.
The exhibition, at Shek Yam Shopping Centre, Shek Yam Estate, Kwai Chung, will open from 10am to 6 pm. It will feature various aspects of slope safety and slope maintenance through colourful illustrations and photographs. Quiz games will also be held at the venue from 2pm to 5pm on November 22 and 23.
Information on landslide warning and danger as well as precautionary measures will be on display.
The GEO's Community Advisory Unit will also conduct a "Meet the Public" session from 2pm to 5pm on November 22 to answer questions about slope safety and slope maintenance.
