In response to press enquiries on the main burst incident in North Point yesterday, a spokesman for the Water Supplies Department said today (September 13) that the department had made further contact with Hong Kong Electric whose contractor was working at the scene of the main burst.
A meeting will be held between the two parties early next week to investigate the cause of the incident, he added.
