In response to media enquiries on a report that the developer of the Hunghom Peninsula would redevelop the residential blocks, a spokesman for the Housing, Planning and Lands Bureau said today (March 18):
"The government so far has not received an application from the developer of the Hunghom Peninsula for redevelopment of the residential blocks.
Any redevelopment would need to comply with the existing master layout plan and any departure from that would require a lease modification for which a premium would be payable."
