The Lands Department announced today (July 26) that the tender for a site, Inland Lot No. 8872 at Hospital Road, Hong Kong, has been awarded to the highest tenderer, Bestford Group Limited (parent company: K. Wah International Holdings Limited), on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $551,000,000.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:
(1) Ace Reward Investments Limited (Wheelock Properties Limited);
(2) Dynasty Rise Limited (Sino Land Company Limited);
(3) Ever Maple Limited (Noble Steed Limited);
(4) Grand Harvest (HK) Development Limited;
(5) Grand King Investment Limited (Henderson Land Development Company Limited);
(6) Happy Land Corporation Limited (Emperor International Holdings Limited);
(7) Newton Investments Limited (CK Asset Holdings Limited);
(8) Star World Property Limited (Hon Kwok Land Investment Company, Limited);
(9) Tide Crystal Limited (Paliburg Holdings Limited and Regal Hotels International Holdings Limited); and
(10) Yield Crown Investment Limited.
Inland Lot No. 8872 has a site area of about 499.1 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 2,396 sq m and the maximum gross floor area that may be attained is 3,992.8 sq m.
