Another Land Sharing Pilot Scheme application received

The Development Bureau (DEVB) announced today (June 7) the receipt of another application under the Land Sharing Pilot Scheme (LSPS).

The application concerns a site at Wing Ning Tsuen, Long Ping Road, Yuen Long, covering about 5.5 hectares of private lots and adjoining government land, currently zoned "Comprehensive Development Area" and "Green Belt". The application involves about 3 300 public housing/Starter Homes units (the exact choice of subsidised housing type to be determined by the Government), 1 300 private housing flats and supporting facilities, with a total gross floor area of about 231 000 square metres. The application is made by Busy Firm Investment Limited (whose parent company is New World Development Company Limited).

The Land Sharing Office under the DEVB will co-ordinate with the departments concerned to facilitate and expedite the processing and vetting of the application.
