The Kwun Tong Promenade has successfully hosted a number of large-scale local and international competitions and water sports events, including water polo matches and dragon boat races. In addition, three water sports training centres have been established and progressively come into operation at the harbourfront sites in Kwun Tong, injecting vitality into the water sports and tourism development of Hong Kong.
