According to Ms Susanna Siu, Chief Heritage Executive of the AMO of the DEVB, the “Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons” exhibition is curated on the basis of “Tang China: A Cosmopolitan Dynasty (7th–10th century)”, an exhibition co-organised by the NCHA and Musée National des Arts Asiatiques-Guimet to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of China-France diplomatic relations. It is also one of the celebratory events marking the 28th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the Motherland. It is the largest joint exhibition, in terms of profile, scale and quantity of artefacts on display since the signing of the Framework Agreement on Deepening Exchange and Cooperation in the Field of Heritage Architecture and Archaeology between the DEVB and NCHA in 2022.
