SDEV to visit Beijing

The Secretary for Development, Mr Michael Wong, will depart for Beijing tomorrow (April 8) late afternoon to pay courtesy calls on the Mainland government ministries with policy areas relating to the work of the Development Bureau.
 
On April 9, Mr Wong will call on the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. On the following day, he will visit the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Water Resources.
 
Accompanying Mr Wong on the visit will be the Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Mr Hon Chi-keung, and the Deputy Secretary for Development (Works), Mr Francis Chau.
 
Mr Wong will return to Hong Kong in the evening of April 10. During his absence, the Under Secretary for Development, Mr Liu Chun-san, will be the Acting Secretary for Development.
