Submission deadline for King Yin Lei revitalisation proposals extended

The Commissioner for Heritage's Office of the Development Bureau announced today (March 31) that, in view of the updates and amendments to the King Yin Lei Resource Kit, the deadline for submission of King Yin Lei revitalisation proposals under Batch IV of the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme will be extended for one month to noon on May 15, 2014 (Thursday), so that potential applicants will have sufficient time to revisit their proposals.

The amendments to the King Yin Lei Resource Kit include updated figures on structural appraisals and trees, updated information of slope and retaining wall features, and more. The updated version of the King Yin Lei Resource Kit can be downloaded at www.heritage.gov.hk/en/doc/rhbtp/KYL_Resource_Kit-Eng_Batch4.pdf.

The submission deadline for the other three projects (i.e. No. 12 School Street, Old Dairy Farm Senior Staff Quarters and Lady Ho Tung Welfare Centre) under Batch IV of the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme will remain unchanged, i.e. noon on April 15, 2014 (Tuesday).

Applicants can contact the Scheme Secretariat at rhb_enquiry@devb.gov.hk or 3509 7347 for enquiries or comments regarding the arrangements.
