The Lands Department today (August 4) announced that the tender for a site at the junction of Hung Luen Road and Kin Wan Street, Hung Hom Bay Reclamation, Kowloon, Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11111, has been awarded to Janeworth Company Limited on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $4,028 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the site to the highest tenderer," a Government spokesman said.
The other tenderers in alphabetical order were:
(1) Casson Investments Limited
(2) Globaluck Limited
(3) Pembrooke Development Investments Limited
(4) World Regal Limited
The site has an area of about 13,703 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 32,887 square metres and 54,812 square metres respectively.
