The Lands Department today (March 7) announced that the tender for a site at Yuen Long On Ning Road, Tai Kiu Road, Yuen Long On Lok Road, Yuen Long, New Territories, Yuen Long Town Lot No.518, had been awarded to Carlford Investments Limited on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $2,410 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the site to the highest tenderer," a Government spokesman said.
The other tenderers in alphabetical order were:
(1) Acmax Enterprises Limited
(2) Brave Sky Investments Limited
(3) Faithful Regent Limited
(4) Joinyield Limited
(5) Maxjet Company Limited
(6) Smart Harvest Development Limited
(7) Up Fair Limited
The site has an area of about 12,340 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding office, godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 57,075 square metres and 61,700 square metres respectively. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 960. At least 800 units shall be ranging in saleable area from 35 square metres to 40 square metres and at least 160 units shall be ranging in saleable area from exceeding 40 square metres to 60 square metres. The size of each residential unit shall not exceed 60 square metres in saleable area.
