Secretary for Development to visit Singapore

The Secretary for Development, Mrs Carrie Lam, will pay an official visit to Singapore from March 4 to 7 to exchange views with officials on urban redevelopment, waterfront planning and heritage conservation.

Mrs Lam will call on ministers at the Ministry of National Development and meet officials of the Urban Redevelopment Authority. She will also visit a number of significant historic buildings and places, including the Far East Square, Tanjong Rhu and Marina Bay areas, the National Museum and Former Asia Insurance Building, to understand how these areas and buildings are preserved and revitalised.

During the visit, Mrs Lam will make courtesy call on the Chinese Ambassador to Singapore, Ms Zhang Xiaokang.

Mrs Lam will return to Hong Kong on March 7.
