The Government today (June 22) gazetted the proposed amendment of road works in connection with the drainage improvement works in Ma Tso Lung, Ying Pun and Shek Tsai Leng in Sheung Shui.
The proposed works are to reconstruct the existing roads and footpaths to be affected by the drainage improvement project in the vicinity. Upon completion, the reconstructed roads will be used by the Drainage Services Department as access to maintain the drainage facilities.
The amendments, including the revision of the proposed limit of works area and deletion of the proposed maintenance access, are made in response to public request.
Copies of the amended plan are available for inspection at the following locations:
1. Central and Western District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Unit 5, Ground Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central;
2. District Lands Office, North, 6/F., North District Government Offices, 3 Pik Fung Road, Fanling, and
3. North District Office, 3/F., North District Government Offices, 3 Pik Fung Road, Fanling.
Any person who wishes to object to the proposed amendments should write to the Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works, 16/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, by August 21.
