The Geotechnical Engineering Office of the Civil Engineering and Development Department will stage a three-day exhibition on slope safety at Lung Cheung Mall in Wong Tai Sin starting on Thursday (March 1).
The exhibition will be open from noon to 8pm daily. Through colourful display panels, video show and an information kiosk, it will convey to visitors the importance of slope safety and proper maintenance. Information on landslip warnings and precautionary measures during heavy rain will also be displayed.
A geotechnical engineer from the Community Advisory Unit of the Geotechnical Engineering Office will meet the public on site from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday (March 3) to answer questions on slope safety and slope maintenance. Quiz games will be held at the same time to help promote the message on slope safety.
