The Geotechnical Engineering Office (GEO) of the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) will stage a five-day exhibition on Friday (August 5) on slope safety and maintenance at Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre, Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon.
Open from 10am to 6pm, the exhibition features various aspects of slope safety and slope maintenance through colourful illustrations and photographs. Interesting quiz games will also be held at the venue from 2pm to 5pm on August 6.
Information on landslide warnings and dangers as well as precautionary measures is on display.
The GEO's Community Advisory Unit will also conduct a "Meet the Public" session from 2pm to 5pm on August 6 to answer questions about slope safety and slope maintenance.
