The Geotechnical Engineering Office (GEO) of the Civil Engineering Department will tomorrow (October 16) stage a four-day exhibition on slope safety and maintenance at Shek Lei Shopping Centre Phase 2, Shek Lei (II) Estate, Kwai Chung.
Open from 10am to 6pm, the exhibition will feature various aspects of slope safety and slope maintenance through colourful illustrations and photographs. Interesting quiz games will also be held at the venue from 2pm to 5pm on October 18 and 19.
Information on landslide risks and warnings as well as precautionary measures will be on display.
The GEO's Community Advisory Unit will also conduct a meet-the-public session from 2pm to 5pm on October 18 to answer questions about slope safety and slope maintenance.
