To enhance contractor management, DEVB(WB) has implemented a new listing review mechanism requiring approved Works Contractors on the List of Approved Contractors for Public Works ("the List") and/or the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works ("the Specialist List") to regularly verify and update their information maintained by DEVB(WB). A new e-Service portal (i.e. Contractor Management Information System - External Portal (ECMIS)) is developed to streamline the renewal process.
The ECMIS is a web-based e-Service portal over a cloud platform for contractors/suppliers on the List and the Specialist List to verify and update the Contractor Profile periodically upon notification from DEVB(WB) for retention on the List and the Specialist List (i.e. Listing Information Renewal Exercise).
In addition to telephone support hotline, a series of online demonstration videos are available to familiarize contractors with the workflows and key features of the Contractor Portal of ECMIS.
