Development Bureau has completed processing the tenth round of applications and approved six applications involving a total of 985 quotas under the Labour Importation Scheme for the Construction Sector (the Scheme).  As of December 2025, there are a total of 6 489 approved and valid quotas under the Scheme. The trades/disciplines mainly include refrigeration / air-conditioning / ventilation mechanic (including water system and air system), electrician, plant and equipment mechanic (construction work).  Please click here for details of the valid quotas by trades/ disciplines. 

Together with the 563 valid quotas approved earlier under the Supplementary Labour Scheme, which are to be counted towards the importation quota of the Scheme, there are a total of 7 052 valid quotas under the Scheme.

The works contracts with approved and valid quotas include those related to the Three-Runway System and expansion project of the Hong Kong International Airport, hospital development, waste management and sewage facilities, public housing, and other building projects, etc.
