To oversee the implementation of the recommendations arising from the institutional review on the Greening, Landscape and Tree Management Section, including arrangements for recruitment of key personnel;
To formulate the implementation framework and arrangements of a voluntary registration system for arborists and tree workers to be enforced through Government contracts;
To oversee the organisation of the Construction Innovation Expo 2019 and the first International Conference on Urban Forestry;
To oversee the implementation of the Study Sponsorship Scheme and the Trainee Programme under the Urban Forestry Support Fund; and
To steer the development of the new campus of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction at Tai Po.
