The Secretary for Development, Mr Michael Wong (fifth right), visited Central and Western District today (August 29) to inspect the progress of works for the revitalisation of the Central Police Station Compound. Accompanied by the Chairman of the Central and Western District Council, Mr Yip Wing-shing (sixth right), and the District Officer (Central and Western), Mrs Susanne Wong (third left), Mr Wong visited the new buildings of the revitalisation project and is pictured with representatives of the Development Bureau, Hong Kong Jockey Club and Tai Kwun in front of the building which will be used as a multi-purpose auditorium.
