The Government announced today (December 4) the addition of two residential sites to the quarterly land sale programme for the third quarter of 2015-16, i.e. October to December 2015.
The two residential sites are in Sham Shui Po and Yuen Long and have a total capacity to provide about 960 flats.
When announcing the quarterly land sale programme for the third quarter of 2015-16 on September 30, the Secretary for Development, Mr Paul Chan, announced four residential sites for sale in the third quarter of 2015-16, which were capable of providing about 2,850 flats. He also said at the time that, subject to the progress of rezoning and other work as well as market conditions, the Government might put up additional sites for sale during the course of a quarter.
The updated full list of the sites for the third quarter of 2015-16 is attached. The Lands Department will separately announce the detailed land sale arrangements.
The Government will announce the land sale programme for the next quarter towards the end of December 2015.
